Dr. Tom Bender
Holistic Chiropractor
Dr. Tom Bender developed his love for Chiropractic care from a young age. He fondly remembers the days he would spend at his father's office as a child, having the opportunity to observe patients come into the office; and hearing the praises they had for his father, Dr. Tom decided to dedicate his life to learn all that he could so he could go out into the world and help others.
Immediately after high school, Dr. Tom moved down to Georgia to attend Life University. He began his Bachelor's degree in nutrition while simultaneously fulfilling the requirements to enter the Doctor of Chiropractic Program. Dr. Tom's determination to succeed was put to the test in 2015 when he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After losing his mother to cancer when he was 10 years old, he refused to let his diagnosis stop him from being able to help others.
After 9 months of complimentary treatment, which included: Chiropractic care, Designed Clinical Nutrition, Emotional Healing, Stress Management, Exercise, and Chemotherapy, Dr. Tom's recovery was smooth, and he was able to return to working towards his dream of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. In 2018, Dr. Tom graduated from Life University among the top of his class and holds many accolades for his academic achievements.
Dr. Tom strives to provide high quality chiropractic care through a unique perspective for friends, family, and community members of all ages so they can get the healthcare they deserve.
Outside of the office, Dr. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Shawna, their son, Mason, and their 2 dogs Loki and Thor. As an ex-competitive swimmer, he loves exercising and spending time in the water swimming, kayaking, boating, and doing anything else water related.
